IMK - Metal Industry of Kosovo

IMK has been producing spiral welded steel pipes since 1972. In 2016, production was expanded through high investments by the Mabetex Group for the manufacture of steel structures.

IMK (Industria Metalike e Kosovês) has been producing spiral welded steel tubes since 1972. In 2016, the production was expanded through high investments by the Mabetex Group for the production of steel structures.

IMK has a modern, automated machine park on an area of 23.000 m² and a capacity of 1060 tons of steel construction per month.

The company has CNC-controlled sawmills and boring machines, welding robots for the production of steel profiles, and plasma cutting systems.

IMK is also certified according to ISO 9001 and EN 1090 up to execution class EXC3.

IMK mainly manufactures heavy steel construction. IMK products include:

warehouses
Railway bridges
Power plant internals
Portal
Structural steel construction for buildings or stadiums

Sandblasting and coating takes place in our own facility. The steel components are galvanized with a local partner.

In recent years, IMK has delivered steel structures to the following countries:

Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, France, Croatia, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Albania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Kazakhstan
